| | Message text Okay so some of you may think that I should be either on the naughty step or with a pointy hat with a big D on it most of the time, but I do sometimes think outside the box.
I was playing Blue Max game over New Year with an eight year old god-son, and he asked if there was anywhere he could play it online.
I instantly thought of this place, then I remembered Fenris and his ever loving attitude to his enemies, and friends. (Love you too Fen  )
I also remembered my twelve year old nephew who would also like to play somewhere online.
So would it be possible to create a kiddies corner, where youngsters could play against one another?
All adults would have to promise not to join as a kiddy - Fenris - as this may give you a bit of an advantage.
It would mean that people like me (as I am a Teacher of Photography and Graphic Design as well as owning a company) and ksnake and others whom I may not know so well, could help by running training games for them.
This will help recruit the next generation of fliers and will absolutely embarrass all of us when ten year olds start handing us our arses in a sling.
Technical problems?
Could kiddies games or games created for or by a kiddy be in a different coloured font?
Could a kiddies game have planes with a blue background rather than a white one? This way we would know who/what we were up against?
Differentiating a Kiddy?
Could this be a question on the personal information page that defaults to kiddy and you have to uncheck the box to be an adult. The system could also automatically uncheck the box once 200 victories have been achieved.
This then leads on to adult differentiation.
Newbies could have green plane backgrounds and name font.
Experienced have white and the usual fonts.
Killers like pokerguy and ksnake could have light red or light grey - just a slight change to the Experienced players.
Newbies up to 200 kills.
Killers over 1000 kills.
Obviously colours would be pastel shades not vibrant day-glow shades.
As I said, outside the box thinking and by having games colour coordinated by the level of the player creating the game then more players may stay rather than leaving the site feeling outmatched.

BTW the naughty step is usually the bottom one of a flight of stairs and where naughty children are sent to calm down before being allowed to apologise and rejoin the group.
