I saw that in one 10 player game, where only 7 planes appeared on the map at turn 1.

I've done some checks and it seems the map used to place your plane in free/area placement is too large, so players can place their planes on hexagons which are over the right edge in the actual game map.

This Bug was mentioned in the Forum some time ago. I know because I was part of the thread. It happens only to Germans as far as I can see; and indeed the righthand extreme row of the SetUp Screen converts to the last half row on the game screen. I've seen it happen many times. I have only seen it in the 'zone setup' option, I don't think it happens in 'free setup' (but maybe). I don't know if one stalls there on turn one whether they are deemed to have flown off the map (as would happen later in the game) or if they can still move into play on turn two
