Hi,
like you can see in the game messages, I've sunk a ship that has been previously captured by one of my enemies and I got no points.
I guess this is a bug, or am I missing something?

As Longneck said, you get no points for sinking one of your ships, even if captured. However, notice that the enemy had 34 points immediately after the capture and only 17 points after you sunk Exeter, so in a certain sense you still "gained" 17 points for sinking Exeter.
That is because capturing gives double points (as the enemy loses a ship and you gain one), but when the ship is later sunk you revert back to normal points as the net result is just that the enemy lost a ship.
