| Message text Big problem with the scenarios that are available.
For examle, you have been playing for one year of "game time". You have a specific plane and a specifc pilot. Some specific circumstances have developed for you and for your opponents.Now you want to generate a few interesting encounters between highly specific groups of allies and highly specific groups of Germans.
The current list of scenarios are developed for tournament use and for the delight of aficianados and is very rigid.
The way I see it you need to be able to generate new scenarios if you are going to please a diverse group of campaign participants.
On the other hand, a small group could construct their campaign so as to fit within the available scenarios. Or you could create a highly unrealistic "campaign" which is flexible in the types of encounters it generates so as to accomodate the rigid scenarios list.
Its been done before, I remember, but it failed and I don't know why. |
