I am guessing you have a later edition of BM. My rules are from the first printing. I'm pretty sure YP.I takes their rules from the inital iteration of the game. Perhaps Nick or Parker could clarify that?

Mine is so old the rules have no copyright date on them. The fact there is no date would, to me, reinforce the fact of them being the first version of the rules. I bought the game when it first came out in 1983. (They are "GDW Rules" as well.)
