I have a very firm view on this (and my record in each, at least, very much backs that view). I am curious about others' views, though.
Well, the verdict was less conclusive than I anticipated.
Seven gave the same answer as me, but quite a few didn't. How much they based on "results" and how much on "personal preference", I'm not sure.
My own record?
If it wasn't for the Alb DVa my personal record would be very ordinary indeed. Of the above I find it BOTH easiest to SURVIVE in (easily), and easiest to KILL in. It is far and away the plane I am most successful with, and assumed most others would see it the same way. I actually do much better in the DVa than I do in the Fokker DVII as well.
Many rated the DVa as well but interestingly an equally high number didn't.
Personally, I am meat in the Dr1 (wherever possible I should utterly avoid this flying coffin) and the Alb. DIII, and I reckon my record with the two Pfalzs is roughly 50-50.
