Another idea is setting player's requirements for joining. For example if you want to play an unbalanced scenario with some veterans; you can set the requirements to 100+ win players.

I see your point with the 100+ wins but I'm not sure that is good either. This would preclude a whole host of players that don't play often but are veterans of the game. Many players here have more ftf board experiences than CTR to CTR keyboard time. I for one have only a few hundred games and only 20 wins, not too impressive I know, but I have been in the top 3 in most of my games this year. Now maybe you are looking for the top players for the type of game you mentioned but I think that is what Challenge or Password games are for.
The problem here is the quantity of [automovers] not the quality of players. Maybe there should be a new stat added to a players page, numbers of [automove]'s they have. Then you could request that only players who have never [automoved] be included. Sort of like a bad credit rating. Maybe even give a scarlet letter in front of the offenders alias similar to the one used for donations, but ugly.
Could a trigger of some sort be added to subscribing to a game that those who have a certain number of [automoves] need permission from the creature to join a game? Nick could help with this question.
