The narrative in the game explains it all. First, your plane started to smoke (from the damage chit) and then the smoke turned into fire. Next turn, you will take a fire damage (blue) before your fire has a chance to be extinguished.
Missed that, doesn't seam right that smoke turns to fire in the same turn??
Jasta- sometimes your luck starts off bad, and then it gets worse!
Not to mention that I think it is possible for you to have your fire extinguished and still be smoking.
