Yes - that is a good one. The same production company also made a gem called Stalingrad, again more the futility of war than anything else. Off the beaten path, I also highly recommend The Winter War, Downfall, though I could fill this page with suggestions.

i remember to see a movie one time when i was a lot younger...was in French translation but the movie is original from Russia...i dont remember a lot about it, but the German was using the Russian tank as a live target and had some Russian guys to drive it and instead of to be blown up, the Russian guys used the tank to escape and managed to get home

i do remember that the tank they used was an actual Russian tank of World War Two and they had a lot of German stuff also

wish i could remember the name of the movie...something like Odessey or Journey of a T34
might be a great project if someone want to look it up
