| | Message text I played several times to WINGS OF WAR with my friends and with my 2 boys (7 and 8 years old).
The main advantages for me to play to this game are:
1/ to be able to do it with your children because it's simple to learn and play;
2/ to have rapid games with a minimum of tactics and historical background (different planes, different movement cards...);
3/ to create big encounters with 8-10 players (and even more!) without making it too long or too complicated.
and...
4/ You now have very nice 1/144th planes models that make your games much nicer to play and watch!!!
So don't try to compare it to BLUE MAX that is much more tactical and historical; WINGS OF WAR remains a very pleasant "beer and bretzel" game for demonstration, initiation and fun!
