Message text Hehe, it is curious you post it. I have Panzer Leader, I have Squad Leader, and I have them unpunched hehe, so no. I haven't played them. I would have liked, but finding an opponent was really difficult here, add to it both games (all AH games) were in English and now it makes it really hard, add to it there were erratas impossible to find for us with no Internet in those days and it made it impossible thing.
I can remember Arab Israeli Wars (AH game too) had stated in its rules that to do something could be up to 40 or 60 turns (can't remember the exact figure). No scenario had that many turns so...what are we supposed to do here? I stopped trying to translate the rules for a pair of my friends to play with me.
I have a good number of AH games I loved and I haven't been able to play. Not much more other than a game of Civilization, a race or two with ... I can't remember its name... it was a Formula 1 game, and not much more. Too sad they didn't come with a good Spanish translation.
In regards of games being long, we had a company here that distributed games in Spanish called NAC, and they made a game about Spanish Civil War we could play all the Saturday long to end the game on Sunday's morning hehehehe. Terrific, isn't it? |
