| | Message text Sometimes I want to play a large,"fast game" where all players stay online until the game is complete, probably an hour or so, and there is only 1 or 2 minutes between moves. Unfortunately this seems almost impossible to do except for 2 or maybe 4 player games. The problems, of course, are many: it is very difficult to communicate this to prospective players, not everyone can stay online for that long, bad connections/server problems, time zone differences, etc.
I thought the best way to achieve a 6, 8, or even 10 player "fast game" would be to try to schedule it in advance. Also, I thought it would be helpful to get a list of other players that are interested in trying this. Then we can try to pick a time to post and start the game. I figure it would also need to be a passworded game to prevent someone who is not prepared to stay online until the game is finished from accidentally signing up.
