Happened to me in one of my first two or three games here. I went to fast into a corner and couldn't move out of it. I was publically riducled by my wingman in game, pretty harsh stuff too, he was a hot head.

Of course my skin is thicker than a single cell organism. Ive had thousands of great games with new friends since.

its happened to me as well to suddenly find myself in a spot to not be able to get out of due to speed or damage...or trying to do a move at 3am after i had taken my contacts out

as for the original thought here...about newbies
its very important to treat them well...to help them out...encourage their participation etc...not get all pissy because they make a stupid move or whine about having ridiculous player rating systems so that experienced players wont have the chore to play against someone new

my husband is a retail owner and always says that one satisfied customer will usually tell one person about their great experience in his store...but that a dissatisfied one is gonna tell TEN
