| | Message text Few here have tried this campaign idea in BlueMax before over the last 10 or so years I have been around. Originally we have the Squadron Campaigns which died eventually. Then GraysGhost ran another campaign that is similar to what you are suggesting, got moving and died too. There was a WSIM league back then also but lost of interest killed it.
Big problem of these thing is the Pace of Play. If you set games to 3 days automove, some people actually find that too much of a rush. I personally will prefer 1 day automove to get things moving.
People (for me anyway) prefer to keep going for the next task when my games are done. However we couldn't in these because we could only go as fast as the slowest game. By the time that is resolved after god knows how many turns, other players have forgotten about it completely.
I do like to see Squadron Campaign making a come back. With Electro controlling the site we can probably have links within YouPlayIt to go to whatever campaign tracking site we use.
