Actually you CAN exit, after the first move selection you'll be warned that by exiting from any edge but your own will incur in a 50% point penalty, this time select again your move and check the "Yes, halve my points box" and you'll move out...
Sad but true, you'll be penalized even if you're really forced to leave...
