I love to fly the DVa and it handles better but you can't beat the A stability of the SE5a, esp with tail and fired last turn bonus.... Love when rookies want to flip and go head to head range two with tail, the DVa needs good dice to win at that
They're very close; in smaller fights I think the DVa is better, while in larger fights the SE5a is better .... Thinking about it, I think I sort of have to agree with you and drop the Albatros down below the SE5a.
Do you think the Bristol F2B is better than the Fokker D.VII? I'm not sure about that one.
