So, you are saying that I was jammed for three turns but just didn't notice the 'your guns are jammed' flag on the game page? I suppose it is possible, I couldn't find a way to check previous turns. I just find it a little hard to believe as I usually check the plane's damage, fuel etc before deciding on a move. I'll keep a closer lookout from now on.

There are no messages when your guns become unjammed (we should add one) and the unjamming phase is after the firing phase, so you could not fire because you were jammed, but unjammed it immediately after.
We should enhance communications for some events that happens during the game and are not explicitly reported to the user.
