My idea is to consider a master each player that cause you to rise a question on "Which ones can be considered masters".
It sounds more like a philosophy rather than a science question.
It is said that philosophy helps you to think, so my is the right thing to your question, much more since you made a definition of "master of the game" that doesn't includes people like me, and this will sound strange to you too.
I was considering a set of criteria so to give user status instead of star/ paid acct/ normal user. We could have badges like novice pilot / expert captain/ beginer KingMaker. Stuff like this. The use is for potential screening and games/leagues selection in the future.
