ok so the bug was that on turn 4 I drew a chit that said 'must turn right for next 3' but none of the movement options were greyed out.
I deliberately tried to follow that restriction - despite it not actually having had an effect on my move options.
I just ran through all my turns and didn't find one that said I must turn right - and I'm pretty sure (but I might be wrong - it was a tricky choice anyway) that the move I submitted for the above game wasn't a turn to the right but it really ought to have been - so probably that submitted move ought to be undone and I should resubmit a move that is a right turn (some people have still not moved).
anyway that was the bug - and telling people I was going to have to turn right before they saw it (they were not tailing me) was why I avoided immediately revealing the bug.
Do you remember if it was specifically a 'Rudder Jammed" chit that was shown? I was wondering if the "Lose speed 3/4' was applied instead because of the direction of the shooting.
