"Caesar failed to unfoul with Captain" even though ships are unadjoined.

This is a bug already fixed in Beta. Sometimes, ships which are grappled or fouled do not drift together if one of them is involved in a collision.
From September onwards, I'll try to organize things so that all improvements currently on Beta can be moved to the Main site. This will need additional testing on Beta to be sure that all versions (Simplified, Basic, Advanced) work correctly. I hope we can move the updated code to the main site by the end of year.
