Experience tough that the sorter is the time out limit and the larger is the number of players that are auto-moved.
The one day limit that you advice would produce a lot of auto-moving players, that I consider a boring opponent.
Consider that the time limit you ask would means that you could not go out for a week end without getting auto-moved.
Then, the players that get auto-moved without a good reason tend to get bored and leave the site.
For a period it was possible to select a 3 days limit before auto-moving, it was deleted for these reasons.
