Has anyone ever tried to print a high res image of the Blue Max board? I still have the old paper foldout map on blue background. Would love to be able to print it out on something more permanent. Any advice?
thanks, aces
yes it is possible, we have done it. A good print shop should be able to help you out. We use many different size roll out hex maps that we use depending on the amount of players we have at any given time. The one I have personally is about 36" x 48" made of leatherette and rolls up nice into a scroll case. You can also get these hex maps as blanks with just hexs and use them for other games such as battletech or starship combat, any hex based movement game really. But the blanks are nice because you can use a dry erase marker and draw out your own terrain features if you can't afford the time or money to make or buy the fancy terrain features. These maps should be available at any game/hobbie store or online where most of the old style games are bought now a days. |
