Just got my new Wings of War Rivised Deluxe Set. It is awesome. The miniatures are way cool. The game play is excellent. I highly recommed checking this game out. The only thing I'm not to crazy about is the price. $79.99 for the box. It seems a bit steep for what is in the box but you do get 4 cool miniature biplanes. The miniatures come pre-painted. The Immelman card is my favorite from the manuever deck. It is more fun with more than 2 players. 
Played WoW when it first came out, and although it was a solid game it was destined to spend more time on the shelf than the table. Unfortunately, shortly before WoW Miniatures came out, I had invested in 1:72 planes for Canvas Eagles. If I hadn't, I'd be all over the WoW Minis to play both WoW and CE. WoW Minis has been pretty popular locally, but I haven't had the time to get into a session yet. |
