September 3rd 2020: Downtime this Weekend
I'm going to be replacing my entire server rack with a new, more sound proof, enclosure. This includes all servers (including the one youplay.it runs on), the UPS, Switches and Routers. Taking the time to do it right and rewire a few things, so a couple of hours. UPDATE: Doing this Friday. Some rack parts I was waiting for arrived early.

June 12th 2020: All Is Well - Really!
Hello,
If you read or watch the news, you might conclude that there is very little good happening anywhere today. All I can say is that bad news sells more than good news, draw your own conclusions. The world is not as bad as some would have us believe.
Personally I don't pay them much attention and try spend my time in more productive pursuits. I love playing with you all here and other games (WoT anyone?), both online and off. I've been working a tiny bit on the Beta Code for WS&IM. but can't say any big changes are in the queue.
Once the world calms down, I've some fuzzy plans about using a Kickstarter to raise funds to hire some programmers and rebuild the entire site. Come to the Facebook group if you'd like to discuss.

April 20th 2020: Emails
Hello,
Due to the recent popularity of the site, for those of you receiving an email every turn, I've temporarily set the email frequency to only send an email every 24 hours. This is because I'm using gmail to send these and Google is limiting the amount of emails we can send on a daily basis.
I'm looking at other email options.

March 29th 2020: Here we are!
Hello everyone,
I certainly hope you are all doing well. I know we all have stories of the past few weeks, so I'll spare you mine.
I just wanted to let you all know that this site isn't going anywhere as long as more than two people want to play. I get a lot of enjoyment from being able to provide this to you, especially now when we need some distractions.
I assure you that all planes, ships, and other playing pieces are kept sterile at all times. Don't be afraid to grapple with other ships and crowd your crew aboard the other vessel.
