January 9th 2007: Challenge and passworded league added
Dear youplayers,
you can now create challenge and passworded leagues, as for the normal games.
We also add the pending league timeout: if after 7 days a league is still pending, it is automatically deleted.

December 29th 2006: Special damage fix and donation race started
Dear youplayers,
we double checked all the special damages in Blue Max and found two little bugs we fixed.
Now all the special damages should work fine... we tested one by one!
As you have probably noticed we also have added a donation bulb in order to allow you to know where we are with the player's contributions for the next year.
Donations are essential for us! we use it to pay housing costs, hardware and software upgrade. In 2006 we were able to improve our server with a new, faster, hard disk and with more memory. For 2007 we are planning to move our server to a better, faster and more reliable farm. But we need your help!
Starting form today, all donation will be considered as made in year 2007.

December 16th 2006: Some new features, at last
Dear youplayers,
we finally managed to add some new features developed months ago but never released.
Here's the list of what's new:
Site management
. Now all the pages have the same header and footer.
. Now all the create game pages behave in the same way and are are managed by a single set of functions. And are able to manage the WS&IM games when it'll be moved to the main site.
Blue Max
. Fixed a bug for retired players who were waiting tail (could happens…)
. Fuel consumption is now correctly calculated also in the retirement turn
. Retired planes are now visible in the ‘Previous position’
. Retirement phase has been vastly rewritten and more logically structured
. When a plane goes down due to the consequences of fire, no more shots down are awarded
. Chits are now automatically adjusted to handle tail/engine inversion. You’ll never see again an engine damage when firing exactly behind an enemy.
. Optimization of the plane chart drawing routine (HTML is now a bit smaller).
. Distance ZERO tailing is now working.

December 14th 2006: Site will be down for a while during the next weekend
Dear youplayers,
we need to do some update to the software to fix some bugs and to release some little new features.
This is why, during the next weekend, the site will be probably unavailable for some hours.
We hope the update will run smooth, but in any case we have to do a lot of tests to check the everything is fine on the site.
