Message text Actually, the rules contradict each other here.
The example for rule 12 says that you can move 1 hex in attitude C and then turn back.
BUT another rule says that each turn costs you 1 move, so if you move and turn you have spent 2 movement in attitude C, which isn't allowed.
Because if you agree with the example for rule 12 and not the other rule it allows ships to sidestep upwind (which is silly, yes?) I think the example is wrong?
