| Message text Hi,
I think it is not realistic to arrange a ship without rigging (but with functional crew and guns) to get kicked out of the game per se.
I think this is only true if there are no other companion ships around that could help it and tow away AFTER the battle is over. Until that moment the riggingless ship is perfectly capable of firing still at his oponents even though it can only drift with the current/wind.
This also means that the opponent that shot his rigging away does NOT get points yet (as in reality he cannot tow it away either in the thick of the battle). Only at the end of the battle when all of the companions of the riggingless ship are gone THEN the leftover opponent(s) get the points for tonnage ..(if the original shooter has sunk in the mean time..then that is sorry..but that is life).
Waddaya think ? |
