Your suggestion of a "Skip Sail Phase" checkbox is good. It's either that or committing to full sails without knowing the situation, or suprising the opponent with full sails he didn't plan for.
I think I will go for the "Sail Phase" solution - after so much work to make the online version work as the boardgame, it would be weird to have fullsails work so differently just to make the game faster |
