Sadly, my crew always aims at the almost intact ship leaving me with cashing in two volleys each round.
If I were able to aim, the weaker ship would be gone already.
I found this a sometimes annoying feature. Maybe it could be addressed sometime.

Yep, I've been thinking about it while working on firing code.
This problem can be solved in many ways, one of them is to add a list in the interface where you can specify your "Preferred Target" so that when 2 or more targets are available, the preferred one will be chosen
