I don't think that WSIM ever included specifications or counters for combatants other than, French, English, Spanish and American. While it is true that encounters with the fledgling American navy were far and few between, the game was designed for an American audience and thus many of the European navies, such as the Dutch, Danish, Russian, Turkish and others, who were encountered on the high seas far more frequently, were ignored in favour of depicting the Americans. Another game, Beat to Quarters does depict many of the various European navies and it would be possible to design a scenario using those rules. You yourself might want extrapolate specifications for some of the combatants you are eager to play and pass them on to the site administrators. I don't doubt that they could set up such an encounter. |
