As we get close to starting the final games of the regular season, many are looking forward to the post season playoffs and wondering what they will look like. I'm posting them in the forum because our attempt to use the team captains to pass on rules updates and procedures has sometimes left some players in a fog without a compass.

The top two teams in each league will play a best of five series against each other to determine a league champion. The two league champions will play a best of seven series to determine the Trident Cup Champion. A team, if they wish, may play the same scenario and country for each of their choices.

For the league championship series, the first place team will get to choose two scenarios and the country they are playing, and the second place team will choose one scenario and the country they are playing. These three games will start simultaneously - or as close as possible to it. When it is determined a fourth game might be needed, the second place team will choose another scenario and country to play. Again, when it is determined a fifth game might be needed, the first place team will choose another scenario and country to play.

The Trident Cup Championship series will follow a similar procedure with the team with the better regular season and league champions series winning percentage getting to choose games 1, 2, 6, and 7, and the other team games 3, 4, and 5.
