With the success of Mark's popular World Cup competition, recently concluded, SirLindsley has teamed with pbass111 for the purpose of beginning a similar competition for team play.

Presenting: the first ever WS&IM team Trident Cup Challenge.

This inaugural event will begin with a total of 8 teams, with each team comprised of the same 3 players for the duration of the competition. Each team will either join or be assigned to one of 2 leagues: the American League, or the International League.

There will be 3-game rounds between teams within one's own league, and with teams of the other League, played according to a set "Season" and schedule. Competition will conclude after the season, and concluding with both a playoff and a Trident Cup Championship Series.

Sign-ups are beginng immediately, with league play to begin once all teams are assigned to their respective leagues. Team schedules will then be distributed.

Preference will be given to the organized teams as entered.. Team entries can be sent to Mark at: SirLindsleyBray@aol.com .

Interested individuals can also apply for league play. Subject to availability, they will be assigned with other players (handicapped for experience) for inclusion as a team. Also, a pool of players will be needed for last minute fill-in positions, should a team experience a drop-out or temporarily unavailable player (due to vactions, work schedule, etc). Individual players wishing to participate please contact Johnny at: pbass111@aol.com . Be sure to state your intention to be either a full-time team player, or a substitute.

Only responsible, long-term players should register, as the league will be a committment by the participants for the duration of the event. Slow play by even 1 person affects the entire League. Substitutes and trades will be permitted, but all teams will continue and finish the season.

All teams will have one (1) person assigned as Team Captain. Only the Captain may contact League organizers for League business. Team Captains must have a current email address. Team Captains please contact SirLindsleyBray@aol.com to enter.

Remember, 8 teams provides room for only 24 players. Be sure to get your entries in as quickly as possible. There will be several weeks allowed for teams to form, and be entered, but be sure to get your teams organized as quickly as possible.
