I think, it would be a good addition to the site, too.
Example: Game ends when 50% of all ships are destroyed. Game ends when ship XYZ is sunk. Game ends when point difference between players is XYZ.

Thats an interesting idea, I recall that PGG tourey's use a bid system for the Germans because the game tends to give a marginal or better win to the germans. Thus the bid is a play balance.
So one way to balance a scenario would be to allow players to bid for the stronger side in victory points. Thus once you learned how strong the stronger side was you would create the game and bid for a side and then whomever wanted to play you would enter his bid for the stronger side and whomever bid the most for the side got it and the opponent woud give that amount of points.
The points would only kick in if a ship had been sunk, otherwise the weaker side could just sail away and win. |
