yes it is the infamous SELECTION bug;

Rules say that at same distance, the choice between enemy and friendly will AUTOMATICALLY have the selector choose to attack the enemy ship.

In practice -you see- it always chooses the friendly ship and thus won't fire.

this BUG is OVER 2 YEARS OLD
