i like the idea of signals between ships...there have been a lot of times when i have been in the dark over what the ships in line ahead of me were going to do and it would have been nice to have a signal
signals SHOULD be visible to everyone and not passed via email or chat...such communication allows far too much cooperation between squadron mates at a level that far exceeds the actual level of coordination at the time...to my mind email or chat messages would constitute cheating
it is quite possible to have prearranged signals between players who are team mates and having such signals visible to all players gives them a chance to possibly decipher them as happened historically |
