I'm a little surprised the scoring system is giving me a loss; both French ships have struck, and my coalition has 42% of its ships intact. I have the most points of all four players.

To win this scenario, the pirates have to sink both SOLs while only taking 50% casualties or less!

Yes the winner is the player on the side with the most points, who has the most points on that side.

Yes, you must limit your losses. The gmae is INCREDIBLY unbalanced in favor of the pirates otherwise.
