If there has been no firing for say ten consecutive turns, then it is deemed to be foggy, nightime etc, and the game is ended at that point.
I like that idea, but it should me more like say 15 turns because something battles tend to drift apart and after the parties are finishing off their victims are eager to bring broadsides against each other but their top speed is only one hex each due to damage. |
