2nd Rate 81-99
3rd Rate 61(I think) to 80
These where known as Ships if the Line, everything else was Frigate sloop etc. It was a gentlemans agreement that Ships of the Line would not fire upon those other ships, unless the target was trying to get into a raking position, then all bets where off and you could blow them to smitherenes
