Message text | In the "Arbuthnot and Des Touches" scenario, the wind starts in a gale (with advanced rules), which reduces the movement allowance for SOLs. As a result, most people raise full sails, which quickly get shot away with the massive guns in that scenario. What's a great battle of movement with basic rules breaks down into a drifting slugfest with advanced rules because no one can move. I suggest making the starting wind a normal breeze. That scenario is from the rulebook, right? If so, I understand the reluctance to change it, but it just doesn't work as well, in my opinion. Comments? |
