| Message text Well, if nothing else, we Rum Runners are guaranteed at least a .500 season this year. We've had several wins in a row now, and would be interested to see how we place against those moronic Powder Monkeys during this final round. The nerve of those guys, trying to share first place with us...
We played a few practice games against Team Trade Winds, an all-Italian team featuring Galland, Streaker, and Alex (avallega), one of this site's developers. We split 4 games with them playing Havana, up and downwind. Looks like the practice effort has been worthwhile now, and Scotireb has fit in swimmingly with us in midseason. Nothing like a sharp speed bump such as personnel changes midseason to really add spice to your life!
And you other teams that have experienced this problem know exactly of which I speak. In particular Mac's team, who came out of the chute with guns blazing, and found a huge reef in the middle of the ocean.
