1) Duc Bougogne shot at America's Hull when it had a rake on Royal Oak's Hull. Both targets are at the same range. In the board game, I would had been given the choice to shoot at either the Royal Oak or America. I would have picked the rake on Royal Oak. but instead I was denied

2) Neptune shot at America's Hull. She was shooting at Adamant but suddlenly changes target! In the board game, I would had been given the choice to shoot at either the Adamant or the America. I would picked the Adamant since I was shooting at her for several turns and want to finish her off. Instead I have to fire wildly at everything

The little things like this probably cost me the game. If not, it added to my demise.
