on turn 18 it says the Drake is without crew/all killed, yet there is still one crew marker left. Then on turn 19 the drake sank my ship the ranger. With both players getting some points in the end. Not sure if this is how its supposed to work or if there is a bug or two popping up here.

Both bugs are well known and reported

First bug: it says "crew killed" (and gives you points) when the enemy has still one crew left.
(Then it will say it again and give you again points when you really kill his last crew point).

Second bug: sometimes when the game ends, even the loser is awarded some points, usually making the game a tie and resulting in a random drawn winner. So sometimes you win even if you lost...
