In game 16167, turn 65; a rigging-less vessel, the Neptune, is raked by the Royal Oak, and yet the Neptune doesn't surrender.
The Neptune has no friendly vessels remaining.
DerekticusSurrender by immobility requires a
hull rake. You've must rake within the minimum distance for a hull shot (five spaces or less). You are presently in range of a shot on the rigging only.
Here is another example - game 16133, history turn 27. Leviathan rakes the hull of the rigging-less Sultana at range 5. No Surrender by Immobility results.
There's another part to that rule that's not mentioned in the game log. Here's the full rule:
If all rigging squares are marked off, and no friendly ship of the same or larger class as the firing ship is within ten squares distance, the ship will surrender to the first enemy ship which can rake its hull.
In your example, Argonauta was still within 10 hexes. Thus, Sultana did not surrender. It's actually pretty hard to knock a ship out via this rule.
