make that game 12356 turn 74 and all ships show round but will not compleat reloads, are their ammo limits?


Sorry can you clarify? All the ships have normally reloaded. "round" means they did not fired this turn. "round" on green background means that they never fired in the game. "empty" on red means they had fired (and will normally reload one side).

There are no ammunition limits.

The "rounds" icon will turn black. The ship will NOT fire under any circumstances if that occurs. It must be a bug!

The game must have a problem with the loading function. There have been many instances where my ships will no longer fire. The "rounds" icon turns "black". Once this occurs there is a small chance that the "rounds" icon will return to green and fire, turning red with the "empty" notation. Indeed, when I notice a enemy ship has the black rounds icon showing i will charge it with impunity. This is an error,not a normal game function. A ship can become weaponless at anytime for no reason. Please fix it.

I guess there is some misunderstanding.
Icon MUST NOT go back to green. Green means that the guns never shot during the game. When they shot the first time you get a bouns called Initial broadside in the HDT table. Are you aware of it?

It is now happening in game 12142. Victory is unable to fire but easily has the range on the enemy ship!

I check the situation now (move 45). If you refer to this move, Victory should NOT fire (so no bug) because 11 guns at 5 hex distance + green crew gives you HDT = -1.
Please let me know if the move was 45 or not. A rake for example makes a lot of difference.

Guys out there, if you find a bug please send me this information every time.
  • link to the game
  • the TURN NUMBER your are playing (we could check the game sometimes later)
  • what happened (specify the ship(s))
  • what you did expect to happen and did not
  • your decision to suspend that game or not (if you continue will be more difficult to backtrace the bug / if you suspend it feel free to send an email to postmaster@youplay.it and to me, just to be sure we are not sleeping....)
  • why you do think it's important to fix the bug.

    That makes our checks easier.
