Hi,

during the last summer I worked a lot on this game. Many new features are available on the development machine:

  • drifting
  • grappling
  • smoke icon on the firing ships
  • and many other invisible things:
. scenarios are now in the same format as for Blue Max
. games can now be create the same way other games are created (i.e. we are almost ready for Leagues)
    . other little improvements

So - you say - why we do not release a new feature ?

    There are two reasons:
    1. we want to add melee management and crew transfer. With this we'll have all the basic rules implementedm so we'll have two different game types: simplified and basic
    2. We want to move the game from the test site to the main site.

Yeah - you say - , that's simply great! So why we do not release a new feature ?

Time! Development takes a lot of time and testing it even more time! We do not have enough time !!
We all wants to have the complete WS&IM game available, but we are only able to keep the site up and running, fix mior bugs, resolve performance issues and do normal maintenance.

We have very little time for the site, so the development is quite slow.

We cannot tell when we'll find enough time to complete the development, but we'll slowly continue it.

    Have fun,
    Nick.

  • I agree with scotireb, greatly appreciate the site and wish all the staff a Merry Christmas.
I too would like to add my thanks for such a great site and the work you do on it.Waiting for the developments is like waiting for christmass presents
