Anyway, as I surrendered, my team still got the win. It's the surrender bug.

The current rules state, under victory conditions:

"A player may surrender at any time using the move input window. In a two player game, the game ends and the other player is declared the winner, regardless of points scored so far. In a multi-player game, the surrendering player's ships remain on the map but can no longer be targeted. In either case, the surrendering player loses all points scored so far."

So, the key part is loses all points. So, if you and your teammates all surrender, then, you all score 0 for a team total of 0, so, we would win. This is the simplified game rules, not the new rules for the more advanced version.

Still, I thought you were playing on to just allow it to look proper in the score. Not stubborn. So, it was a nice gesture.

Game 13737

Gentlemen Sailors, let us not lose track of the purpose of surrender in this game.

Argonauta surrendered because the game was obviously lost and it was a time saving effort. I see no reason for Argonauta to lose it's earned points. Sultana and San Josef would have been lost so England should have gained 66 points from them. This gives England the win, although following different reasoning.

This, by the way, is the first English win in this competition.
