I took a quick look in the 'How to play' section but didn't see it explained which may need to be addressed.
Basically the Long Burst adds a +1 to your combat result die role. It also comes with a chance of jamming your gun(s). If they become jammed you must fly straight to unjam them and even then it requires you rolling a 5 or 6 if memory serves.
Best to only use the Long Burst when you are sure of a close hit on someone. Some people use it all the time but the +1 die vs having your guns jammed for several turns is not worth it to me. Whether or not you should listen to me for strategy when it comes to playing this game is another question though!  |
