G'day, all. Under the heading of "Acceleration" the movement rules say a plane can only change its speed by one each turn, from 1 to 2, for example, or from 2 to 1 or 3. Does this apply for deceleration as well? Or can a plane decelerate as much as it wants in a turn?

the plane can only change its speed by one. so yes it does apply for deceleration too.
nb. notable exceptions include if you have had your engine shot out or if you run out of fuel - in which case you are allowed only "glide" moves... |
